Lu Aihong, spokesperson of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and director of the Department of Policy Research, introduced that in 1999, China's first occupational classification code was promulgated, and revised in 2015, and the second revision was launched in 2021. At the review and promulgation meeting before the press conference, the final review of the 2022 edition of the Occupational Classification Dictionary was passed, and the revision work was successfully completed.
For the first time, the new edition of the canon marks 97 digital occupations, including fintechists. Wu Liruo, director of the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, introduced that labeling digital occupations is conducive to promoting the development of the digital economy, accelerating digital technology innovation, helping to build a digital talent team, and improving the digital literacy and skills of the whole people.
Li Jinsheng, director of the Department of Professional and Technical Personnel Management of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said that in the professional and technical personnel category of the new edition of the ceremony, 29 new occupations have been added, such as cryptography engineering and technical personnel, carbon management engineering and technical personnel, and financial technology engineers, providing greater career development space for practitioners in emerging fields and emerging occupations.
"The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has formulated and promulgated national occupational standards for 10 new occupations, launched and implemented the digital technology engineer training project for professional and technical personnel knowledge update engineering, and trained about 80,000 digital technology skills talents every year."
