Industry News | Beijing released the financial industry development plan during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, clarifying the goals and measures for the construction of the national financial management center

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Leading Group for Financial Services issued the "Beijing 14th Five-Year Plan For the Financial Industry Development Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Planning"), which put forward a clear development direction and task measures for the construction of the Beijing National Financial Management Center during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. 

On the basis of reviewing the development achievements of the capital's financial industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, combined with the current new situation, new tasks and new requirements, the "Planning" puts forward the goals of significantly improving the energy level of the Beijing National Financial Management Center by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the role of financial services in ensuring the high-quality development of the capital is more prominent, the two-way opening up of finance is promoted at a high level, the momentum of financial reform and innovation is continuously enhanced, and the financial governance system and governance capacity are significantly improved, and the outlook is made for 2035.  

The "Plan" puts forward a total of 55 main tasks and measures in ten aspects: First, strengthen the financial functions of the capitals of major countries and build a national financial management center at a high level. The second is to optimize the capital's financial organization system and create a modern financial industry with global competitiveness. The third is to serve the reform of the new third board and improve the multi-level financial market system. The fourth is to give full play to the superposition advantages of "finance + technology + data" and build a financial technology innovation center. The fifth is to strengthen inclusive financial services and people's livelihood, and promote the common prosperity of urban and rural residents. The sixth is to deepen the structural reform of the financial supply side and build a precise and efficient financial ecological service system. The seventh is to accelerate the reform of green finance and build a green financial center. The eighth is to promote the construction of "two zones" in the financial sector and create a new highland for two-way opening up of the financial industry. The ninth is to improve the financial supervision system and build a district where financial security is the best. Ten is to enhance the capital's financial soft power and create a world-class financial business environment.  

In the next step, Beijing will closely focus on the functional positioning of the National Financial Management Center and take the "Planning" as the model to further promote the high-quality development of the financial industry.
