Beijing Think Financial Development Institute and Singapore's The Digital Insurer (TDI) released the insurance technology industry map

Powered by The Digital Insurer’s (TDI)’s InsurTech Directory platform (ITD), this map divides Singapore’s insurtech industry bodies into the following three sectors.

1) Value Chain Innovations: Analysis, Sales, Marketing, Risk Assessment, System & Management, etc.

2) New Digital Business Models: Ecosystems (eg Grab), P2P & Communities, Direct Selling/On-Demand Services, Online Product Comparison, etc.

3) Insurtech Supporters: financial support, knowledge support (e.g. TDI Academy), innovation centers/activities, government support (e.g. Monetary Authority of Singapore)

Going forward, the map will be updated quarterly to help users of insurtech services such as insurance companies find solution providers, while making it easier for insurtechs to drive business locally and globally.
